University Orchestra
The University Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Kypros Markou, is a large ensemble consisting of strings, winds, brass, and percussion. The ensemble performs major repertoire for symphony orchestra and performs at the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center.
Musicians are offered the unique opportunity to perfect their craft in the heart of Detroit's Midtown Cultural Center while studying with members of the acclaimed Detroit Symphony Orchestra and other noted Detroit musicians.
