Special Events and Workshops

The Wayne State Department of Music offers a wide variety of special events, workshops and summer programs in an effort to engage, enrich and educate future generations of musicians and to instill a lifelong appreciation of music. We offer a number of experiential days that allow young aspiring musicians the opportunity to learn from our faculty, explore our campus located in the cultural center of Detroit, and immerse themselves in the exploration of music making.
