Master of Music in Music Industry Studies

This program provides a course of study for talented students pursuing a professional concentration in music industry studies. Studients may choose to focus on studies in music business and/or music technology. The advisors for this program are Professor Peters (for music business) and Professor Park (for music technology).

The MM program in Music Industry Studies offers a choice of curricular plans: Plan A includes an eight-credit thesis as the capstone project, while Plan B includes a two-credit essay and six additional credits of coursework. Students interested in further study (including doctoral) may want to consider Plan A, while students interested in additional skills may want to consider Plan B. The Program Advisors, Professors Peters and Park, are happy to help students choose.
