Master of Music in Conducting
This program provides a course of study for talented students pursuing a professional concentration in conducting. Students can focus on orchestral, band, or choral conducting -- or pursue a combination of ensemble types -- while also learning about the historical and theoretical basis of the field. All students gain valuable experience working with a variety of performers and repertoire. Graduates have gone on to pursue careers as professional conductors and as music educators. The advisor for this program is Professor Bianchi.
