Bachelor of Music with a Concentration in Music Business

About the major: The concentration in music business combines the study of music business and business administration with a focus in developing professional skills necessary for careers in the for-profit sector of the Music Industry and adminstrative positions within major non-profit organizations.
Career opportunities: Students who pursue a major in music with a concentration in music business may be preparing for careers in arts administration, the recording industry, talent management, non-profit arts organizations, entertainment law, film music, the digital/internet music industry, radio/television, music publishing, music retail/merchandising, and public relations/marketing.
