Visit the department

WSU's Department of Music is pleased to offer a department visit experience. During the visit, you'll have they opportunity to tour our facilities and rehearsal spaces and learn more our degree programs and the audition process. Visits are designed for all students interested in pursuing studies in any of our 7 undergraduate and 5 graduate concentrations.

The visit involves walking and will last around 45 minutes. For those of you interested in taking the University tour, you will have plenty of time to walk to the Welcome Center and attend the 2 p.m. tour.

Make an Appointment:
All tours depart from the Department of Music Main Office Suite 1321 at 1:00 p.m. and will be completed in time to attend the daily 2:00 p.m. campus tour. Our department tours are generally scheduled to coincide with the campus tour schedule. To set up a Department of Music visit please select an available date on the Department of Music Tour Scheduler. Prospective students are welcome to invite a guest or parent to the tour.

If our tour schedule conflicts with your personal schedule please email Mickayla Chapman, Academic Serivces Officer II at mickayla.chapman@wayne.edu to schedule an individual tour scheduled on a case by case basis.

Department Location and Parking Information:

The Department of Music is located on the first floor or Old Main in suite 1321, 4841 Cass Avenue (the clock tower building). Use the campus map and allow plenty of time to park. The nearest parking is in Structure 6 and Lot 60.
