Band Showcase: Tonight at Community Arts Auditorium

​Band Showcase at Community Arts Auditorium: April 11 at 7:30 p.m.



Join Professors Douglas Bianchi and Joseph Dobos as they lead the Wind Symphony and Concert Bands in an exciting evening of masterworks for wind ensemble.

The program will include Owen Reed's festive La Fiesta Mexicana as well as the unparalleled The Pines of Rome by Ottorino Respighi. William Underwood, a second year Master of Music candidate in Flute Performance, will also perform Fantaisie Pastorale Hogroise, Op. 26 by Franz Doppler.

General Admission tickets are $5 and will be available at the door. This event is free to members of our Friends of Music. To join friends of music and support scholarships and scholarly activity within the department, click here.

Community Arts Auditorium is located on the beautiful campus of Wayne State University.
