Wayne State Department of Music Faculty Jack Blaszkiewicz wins ASCAP Foundation Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award
Department of Music's Associate Professor of Music History, Jack Blaszkiewicz, has been awarded the prestigious ASCAP Foundation Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award for an article in the concert music for his article “Verdi, Auber and the Aida-type,” published by Cambridge Opera Journal.
