Music dept. is accepting applications into part-time faculty hiring pools

The Department of Music at Wayne State University is accepting applications for inclusion in part-time faculty hiring pools in the following areas:

Basic music theory for music majors

Basic and advanced ear training for music majors

Music appreciation for non-majors

In addition, individuals qualified to offer private, applied music instruction at the college level are invited to apply for inclusion in part-time faculty hiring pools. To be considered for a part-time hiring pool, candidates should possess at least a Master of Music degree from an accredited institution in the proposed area of teaching specialization. Candidates should submit the following: a letter of application, a complete professional résumé, and a list of four professional references that includes telephone and email contact information. The letter of application must identify the hiring pool or pools being applied for. Minorities and women are strongly encouraged to apply. All materials must be submitted via US Mail to:
