Department of Music now accepting applications for part-time faculty hiring pools

The Department of Music is accepting applications for inclusion in part-time faculty hiring pools in the following areas:

  • Basic music theory for music majors
  • Basic and advanced ear training for music majors
  • Music appreciation for non-majors
  • In addition, individuals qualified to offer private, applied music instruction at the college level are invited to apply for inclusion in part-time faculty hiring pools. To be considered for a part-time hiring pool, candidates should possess at least a Master of Music degree from an accredited institution in the proposed area of teaching specialization. Candidates should submit the following: a letter of application, a complete professional résumé, and a list of four professional references that includes telephone and email contact information. The letter of application must identify the hiring pool or pools being applied for.
