String Project@Wayne is accepting applications...

August 24, 2012

String Project@Wayne is now accepting applications for its fifth season!

This nationally-recognized program offers high-quality, affordable string instrument instruction to children from the entire metro Detroit area. Third- to fifth-graders with no prior string experience may join at Level I (through 6th grade for cello and bass). Students through grade eight who already play a string instrument may join at Level II or III by audition. Classes meet twice a week, after school and on Saturdays, in the Old Main building at WSU. String Project students perform two concerts a year onstage at Orchestra Hall, home of the Detroit Symphony.
